 If Saturday had been about exploring everything Durham had to offer, Sunday was a laid back day for wandering and taking photos. Thanks to our late check out time, we were able to take Sunday morning at leisure. We opted to fill up at breakfast time, the logic being that we'd already paid for the cost of our breakfast with our room fee so if we ate heartily, we could avoid spending more at lunchtime. We understood the mission, and checked out with full tummies, once again leaving our bags at the hotel so we were free to wander.  First up, I was keen to walk along the river to see if I could get some images of the river with the Cathedral above it. The weather was glorious, we were actually getting hot on our walk.
